In the Age of Rembrandt: Collecting Dutch 17th-Century Art

Celebrate Dutch Painting in the Age of Rembrandt by learning about the impetus to collect and donate major works to public museums like those from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston featured in the exhibition. Following an introduction to the exhibition by Christopher Atkins, the Van Otterloo-Weatherbie Director of the Center for Netherlandish Art at the MFA, Brent R. Benjamin, The Barbara B. Taylor Director, Saint Louis Art Museum, will moderate a discussion with collectors Rose-Marie and Eijk van Otterloo and Susan and Matthew Weatherbie who made transformative contributions of Dutch art to the Museum of Fine Arts.
