LOUD & LAVISH

CLICK HERE FOR A SEATING CHART.

Loud & Lavish is a party taking place on November 18th at The Grandel in the Grand Center Arts District. Headlined by Sandra Bernhard’s comedy cabaret performance, the evening’s loud entertainment will also feature The Van Ella Bordella – an immersive storytelling burlesque experience, sets from DJ Alexis Tucci, and philanthropic arm wrestling matches with the Saint Louis Lady Arm Wrestlers (SLLAW) benefitting the Missouri Trans Umbrella Group (MTUG).

Lavish food & beverage selections will be offered, including specialty cocktails by Pevnick, martini bars, and a featured food menu by The Dark Room. The Dark Room at The Grandel hosts pre-show entertainment from Tonina Saputo and an after-party with DJ Alexis + Mo Egeston & friends.

SANDRA BERNHARD:

Sandra Bernhard began her career at L.A.’s famed Comedy Store in the ‘70s, and since then has written and starred in numerous one-woman shows, acted in movies and on television, recorded albums and authored books.

THE VAN ELLA BORDELLA:

The Van Ella Bordella, an infamous house of ill repute. Join Madam Lola van Ella, her intoxicating and charming courtesans Bibi Dazzle, Willy LaQueue and Sailem, and "Professor" Mimi Le Uke, for an evening of debauchery, scandal, decadent delights and scintillating Victorian era brothel history. Bring your open mind, a daring sense of adventure and leave your inhibitions at the door for an immersive, theatrical and fabulous evening of burlesque harlotry.

SAINT LOUIS LADY ARM WRESTLERS (SLLAW):

A conglomerate of awesome, where sport meets theatre in a throw-down against the patriarchy. It’s philanthropy with a twist of the wrist. Each bout draws bets and dollars from the crowd to benefit the Missouri Trans Umbrella Group (MTUG).

DJ ALEXIS TUCCI:

DJ Alexis Tucci of Nightchaser and That Girl productions is an underground house DJ influenced by deep sexy grooves and intense tribal techno, reflecting on funk, soul, latin and disco.
