Grammy-nominated percussionist and vocalist Pedrito Martinez leads his Afro-Cuban quintet in a high energy blend of Cuban timba, traditional rumba and the sacred sounds of Yoruba. Recently named Jazz Percussionist of The Year, by the Jazz Journalists Association, Martinez has recorded or performed with numerous musicians including Paul Simon, Wynton Marsalis, Paquito D’Rivera, Bruce Springsteen, Ruben Blades, Dave Matthews and Sting, and has contributed to over 75 albums.

Add dinner to your concert experience! The Sheldon is pleased to host a pre-show buffet dinner before the Pedrito Martinez concert on Saturday, October 14 provided by local restaurant Mayo Ketchup.

Mayo Ketchup was created to give family, friends and the community a warm, welcoming, casual space to come together for an experience like no other in the St. Louis area. As a team, Mayo Ketchup brings the flavors, hospitality, spirit and passion of Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Cuba to life.
Dinner will begin at 6 p.m. in the Sheldon Ballroom. Dinner tickets are $38/person (including gratuity) with a cash bar available. Click here to purchase.
Orders are due by Wednesday, October 11 at 12 p.m. Dinner does not include a concert ticket.

COVID-19 Protocols
Beginning April 22, 2022, The Sheldon will no longer require proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test to enter. Masks are also no longer required for entry. For the health and safety of patrons, volunteers, staff and artists, The Sheldon recommends masking at all times, unless eating or drinking, especially for those who are unvaccinated.
- Mask and vaccination policies are subject to change at the request of the performer or event organizer. Please check the website for information about individual events.
- Ticket holders will be contacted directly if the policy for their event differs from general Sheldon policies.
- Please note that these policies are also subject to change in accordance with any local mandates. The Sheldon will continue to follow the guidance and mandates set forth by public health and our local government, and will be reevaluated as vaccination and transmission rates change over the coming months.
