The annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration will be back in person at the Saint Louis Art Museum. Inspired by depictions of Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer, Moneta Sleet Jr., local Black artists will respond to Sleet's photographs through their original performances. The evening will also include a talk by Tabari Coleman, training consultant and social justice advocate.
This program is supported by the Dana Brown Endowed Fund for Education and Community Programs.
A portion of this program will feature the moving lights of a mirror ball.
