Part of The Sheldon's Classics Series
Roger Kaza, St. Louis Symphony Principal Horn, is joined by pianist Peter Henderson in an exploration of four centuries of glorious music for French horn, including a visit to its primal origins in the forests of Europe. On the program are works by Handel, Mozart, Brahms and Olivier Messiaen’s Appel Interstellaire from the suite Des Canyons aux étoiles.
MUSIC THAT MATTERS - Top St. Louis musicians play music that matters – sharing with you the composers and works that mean the most to them personally.
A reception follows each of the three concerts, giving you an opportunity to meet the artists.
Sheldon Classics is welcomed by RAF-STL
