Launched in 2004 by SFJAZZ in San Francisco, the SFJAZZ Collective has become one of the most exciting and acclaimed groups on the jazz scene! This season, they celebrate two milestone recordings: Miles Davis’ In a Silent Way and Sly and the Family Stone’s Stand, both of which were beacons of hope and new possibilities during a turbulent time in America.
