JAZZ N' TONGUES: THE ART OF MUSIC & POETRY

The Saint Louis University Music Program in conjunction with Nu-Art Series present Jazz n’ Tongues: The Art of Music and Poetry. The second concert of the series features poet Quincy Troupe, poet and author with a quartet of local jazz musicians.

A native St. Louisan, Troupe is an award-winning author and poet whose books include the biography of Miles Davis, Miles and Me. He has received two American Book Awards as well as the prestigious Peabody Award for co-producing and writing the radio series The Miles Davis Radio Project.  

The performance take place on Friday, November 2 at 8:00pm at the University Theatre in Xavier Hall, 3733 West Pine Mall on the SLU campus
