Then and Now: Aliens Sans Frontières

In The Farrell Auditorium

Enrique Chagoya, painter and printmaker, will address the ways his art reflects on the cultural contrasts and collisions he has experienced during his lifetime living in different parts of North America and Europe. He will discuss his concepts of “reverse anthropology” and “reverse modernism,” while also reflecting on the role of print media in his art.

This lecture can be attended as a stand-alone event or as part of the symposium taking place on Saturday, February 2, 2019. Each event is ticketed separately to allow for this flexibility, so anyone who wishes to attend both the Friday evening lecture and Saturday’s program needs to purchase two tickets, one to each event.
