LeFlore-Ituen & Alissa Rowan, this powerful choreopoem masterfully weaves together selections from Shirley’s groundbreaking play Songs of River Magic—once performed at The Kennedy Center—and the debut of her never before performed children’s works that include the vibrant and Emo-shunz. With a powerful original score by acclaimed Composer/Producer Daniel Fitzpatrick II, dazzling choreography, and introducing Anthony Owens, Ameya Verghese, Rylan Harden, Skylar Wilson Montgomery Price, and Nala Davis.
