A benefit concert in the aftermath of the May 16th tornado
Join us for the SECOND night of this effort by St. Louis singers and musicians to help the people of North St. Louis in this devastating situation! There are many people from the music community that were directly affected. Tonight’s show focuses a little more on the Blues, Latin and Rock genres and we have a stellar line-up for you!
Steve Scorfina - of REO Speedwagon, Emerson Magana and Aaron Burlbaw of Gypsy Social, Uncle Albert Duo, The Kingdom Brothers, The Broken Hipsters, Tim Mead and Matt Rowland, Mitzi MacDonald and the Laws of Music, Dave Black, Anna Allen, Marc Waters, Mike Levine, and more!
Thanks to the generosity of the City of Kirkwood and KPAC– ALL of the proceeds from tonight’s show are being donated to “100 Roofs”.
100 Roofs.com - A grassroots movement started by Jake Wheeler, of St. Louis. Providing both immediate and long-term aid to residents of North St. Louis affected by the May 16, EF3 tornado, with an emphasis on securing residential infrastructure through the use of skilled and reputable labor. He and his team of volunteers, are on a mission to fix the roofs of 100 homes, free of charge. Thanks to the financial help of Katie’s Pizza and other donors, they have already fixed 34 roofs. Let’s help keep it going!
