The launch of International Classical Music Enterprise–STL with an inaugural concert that wraps you in a warm and cosmic embrace, from Mozart’s enthralling “Kegelstatt” Trio and Tchaikovsky’s iconic The Nutcracker in a concert suite for solo piano curated and transcribed by Mikhail Pletnev. ICME–STL founder Michael Lu will premiere his own transcription for solo piano of Florence Price’s Night, a song based on a poem by Louise C. Wallace where the nightfall, personified as a Madonna in blue, rests like a dreamy, carefree child beneath the moon’s glowing silver light.
