In the Strauss Black Box Theatre at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center
On Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 7:30 PM, the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center will come alive with City of Gabriels, A Celebration of St. Louis Jazz Trumpet—a dazzling celebration of jazz’s boldest horn, presented by the Kirkwood Arts Commission and the Kirkwood Arts Foundation.
Five acclaimed trumpet players—Jim Manley, Randy Holmes, Kasimu Taylor, Danny Campbell, and Dawn Weber—will headline this unforgettable concert. Adding a soulful dimension, vocalists Erin Bode, Joe Mancuso, Anita Jackson, and Arvell Keithley Jr. will bring their powerful voices to the stage.
The evening will be anchored by a world-class rhythm section: Carolbeth True (piano), Glenn Smith (bass), and Kevin Gianino (drums), promising a program that swings effortlessly from fiery solos to lush ballads.
