Held in recognition of Juneteenth, this high-energy concert honors the rich legacy of Black artistry and musical innovation through the iconic songs that defined a generation, from The Temptations and Stevie Wonder to Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, and more.

Leading the charge are some of the region’s most celebrated vocalists: Jesse Robinson, Joe Mancuso, Renee Smith, Robert Nelson, along with powerhouse vocalist Charles Glenn and the dynamic, genre-blending Nikki Glenn, whose unique combination of vocals and violin adds a fresh and exciting dimension to the show.

Backing this incredible lineup is a powerhouse band featuring Chuck Smotherson on drums, Leland Crenshaw on guitar, Vince Clark on bass, and Pete Ruthenburg on keys, delivering the groove, energy, and authenticity that made Motown a global phenomenon.
