Miss Missouri Volunteer Pageant is a nonprofit scholarship program for young women ages 13 to 26. This program is a part of the Miss Volunteer America, a national program based in Tennessee that seeks to empower young women across the country through educational scholarships and extraordinary opportunities. The program emphasizes Scholarship, Education, Responsibility, Volunteerism and Empowerment.

Located in the heart of Kirkwood's bustling downtown, the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center (KPAC) features a 529 seat Ross Family Theatre and 150 seat Strauss Black Box Theatre. KPAC is located at the corner of South Taylor Avenue and Monroe Avenue in downtown Kirkwood.
