Respect My Shoes is a bold, unapologetic theatrical experience that invites you to step into the many shoes women wear every single day. Through raw monologues, laughter, vulnerability, and a little bit of sass, this powerful production pulls back the curtain on the lived experiences of women navigating love, motherhood, relationships, careers, healing, and the weight of expectations.
It’s sexy. It’s funny. It’s honest. And sometimes… it’s uncomfortable in the best way.
Created by Phoenix Bell and co-written by Joel PE King, Respect My Shoes blends storytelling and lived experiences through truths to spark conversation around mental health, identity, resilience, and the beauty of owning your story. One moment you’ll be laughing out loud, the next you’ll be nodding your head in recognition—or wiping away a tear.
It’s a celebration of strength, softness, and everything in between.
And most importantly… come ready to respect the shoes.
