With programs that engage and unite the community, to gallery exhibitions that explore the full range of human emotion, and through live music – The Sheldon offers a transformative experience. For decades, The Sheldon has been a core contributor to the culture of St. Louis, and this 2025-2026 season we are thrilled to invite everyone to join us in Exploring Our Roots.
Through music and art, each performance and exhibition offers a window into the roots that ground us—and the branches that continue to grow. The theme Exploring Our Roots manifests itself as a season-long celebration of the music, stories, and traditions that shape who we are.
Across the concert series and exhibitions, visitors will encounter powerful expressions of heritage, from Ruth Moody’s otherworldly melodies and lyrics, to South Africa’s Grammy Award-winning Ladysmith Black Mambazo’s messages of unity, extending out to Eastern Europe in celebration of the klezmer tradition with The Klezmatics, to honoring legendary jazz trumpeter and band leader Miles Davis on his centennial, and expanding out west with the electrifying Hot Club of Cowtown, the iconic story telling of Grammy Award-winning Dom Flemons, and more. The Sheldon offers another unforgettable season that encourages our patrons to consider their own foundations.
We are also thrilled to announce the return of the phenomenal St. Louis Symphony Orchestra: Live at The Sheldon, a chamber series curated and performed by SLSO musicians.
This season, we will also unveil The Sheldon’s renovations, promising to elevate the concertgoing experience and creating a modern, welcoming environment. We are eager to share the newly renovated and reimagined spaces which will be an integral part of The Sheldon’s future (putting down new roots!).
When you subscribe, you will receive the best price and seat selection for the concerts you love.
The Sheldon is a gathering place at heart – a colorful and eclectic collection of people and ideas and shared experiences. We hope that you will join us to be part of it all!
