Ganesh and Kumaresh - globally acclaimed as The Violin Brothers — are among the most influential figures in contemporary Carnatic music. They made their concert debut as child prodigies in 1972, with Ganesh at the age of seven and Kumaresh at five. Under the rigorous tutelage of their father and guru, the distinguished violinist T. S. Rajagopalan, the brothers developed an extraordinary command over the Carnatic violin tradition. Over the years, this foundation evolved into a distinctive musical philosophy marked by originality, depth, and uncompromising classicism.
