Makini “K Kudda Muzic” Morrison is a St. Louis-based jazz pianist, hip-hop producer, and composer blending jazz with indie soul and alternative hip-hop. Inspired by legends like Herbie Hancock, Robert Glasper, and J Dilla, he’s headlined shows at City Winery, and plays with Blvck Spvde and The Cosmos. Leading his band, Kudda + Friends, he’s recording Proof of Concept, an album highlighting genre-defying artistry and jazz sound.

Dhoruba is a Kansas City Born and raised St. Louis based Drummer/Producer. He mixes his experiences and musical upbringing into exciting collage of sounds and feelings. He mixes genres jumping from polyrhythm to polyrhythm. Dhoruba is a community activist who was very focal in the Mike brown movement organizing and other movements in St. Louis and around the country including George floyd and Tamir rice to name a few. He has refocused on his art and is excited to share his experiences and message through music. Dhoruba has played for Grammy winning artist Bilal, as well as traveled the world with Osunlade, Tonina and Jesse Gannon and the truth.
