J. Chambers is a St. Louis singer-songwriter. He purposefully avoids unnecessary adornment, leaving his music raw and visceral with a gut punch range of emotion. His songs lean on intimate, provocative vocals that float hooky, searing melodies over stripped-down acoustic guitar. Few artists step on stage as willing to expose their personal vulnerabilities, so that the audience might experience its own. J. is formerly of Universal Records’ New World Spirits and St. Louis’ own Blackout Angels.
