Travel St. Louis's stretch of the legendary Route 66 through film, storytelling, and live music at Show Me 66, a special afternoon event celebrating the history, culture, and enduring spirit of America’s most iconic highway.
This free program features a curated conversation with award-winning documentary film director and Missouri Historical Society historian Andrew Wanko, who will share behind the scenes insights from the making of the documentary and the stories that brought Route to life in St. Louis.
The afternoon is rounded out with live music inspired by the open road, evoking the sounds and rhythms that define Route 66.
Attendees are encouraged to visit the Route 66 sculpture at the corner of Argonne Drive and Kirkwood Road.

Located in the heart of Kirkwood's bustling downtown, the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center (KPAC) features a 529 seat Ross Family Theatre and 150 seat Strauss Black Box Theatre. KPAC is located at the corner of South Taylor Avenue and Monroe Avenue in downtown Kirkwood.
