Respect the Mic, created by spoken-word artist Kristen Harris, known as "KMoney the Poet," continues to grow as a space where poetry, music, comedy and creativity take center stage.

What started as a vision to support artists has grown into a welcoming hub for both new and seasoned performers. Harris said the inspiration behind Respect the Mic was rooted in providing a safe place to grow artistically while fostering strong connections.
