Tracy ( T-Spirit) Stanton Presents: STMBH
Some Things Must Be Heard : Spitting & Politicking is a Spoken Word, Communal Healing, and Community Building Platform that merges Art, Activism, and Community Organizing.
Our ultimate goal is to move people to take action in their own lives and/or in the community at large. We provide brave spaces for community members to connect, express, and address the issues that affect us all.
We host open mics and closed mic productions and at our upcoming closed mic event on Sunday, Fathers Day: June 16th we will be featuring International Spoken Word Artist :Eros Bowie, the expert in Black Male Expression : IBenaGod, Multidisciplinary Artist and Legend: Louis Conphliction as well as Elder Community Organizer and Freedom Fighter Baba Jay.
This is our Fathers, Families and Freedom Edition so we will be celebrating Black fathers, amplifying the importance of family( related & unrelated), and focusing on our collective liberation and freedom. This is not just an event that was created for entertainment, this production is a catalyst for activation, mobilization and collaboration.
Join us at the High Low at 3301 Washington Ave, St. Louis, MO 63103 from 6 pm - 7 pm and follow Tracy ( T-Spirit) Stanton at tspirit2019 on IG and tspiritthepoet.com
