This year’s dance concert features a selection of our signature works alongside an inspiring new piece titled "The Glorious Crown."

"The Glorious Crown" is a musical-infused piece, that journeys through the history of crown symbolism, exploring the diverse headwear of rulers, warriors, and leaders across Afro-Diasporic cultures. Each section examines the connections between power, identity, and legacy. Inspired by a personal journal entry from childhood, the piece uses vibrant storytelling and uplifting music to illustrate that while earthly achievements offer temporary glory, the eternal rewards promised to followers of Jesus Christ hold ultimate value by Creator and Artistic Director Alicia Sunshine.
